Better take boomer.host deal at this price range

Oh wait is that KVM ?

  • they limit their SSD I/O to 200MB/s. their windows is unusable.

even Virmach is better with their 300MB/s limit, and much better specs for the price.

Well, 20GB Disk, why do you need a higher throughput?
Sounds more like they limit IOPS to hard.

yes referring to IOPS and seq IO capped at 200MB/s max.

dont advertise SSD RAID 10 if the cap is hard, unless it's unlimited use IOPS.

how would you like the provider to describe an underlying SSD RAID10 array, then?

You should have an expectations of limits in a virtual environment.

  • No offence but what are you expecting for $10 or $20 a year?, 95% of the time you get what you pay for with tech and services.

fully agree, however it should not be a hard limit unless otherwise stated.

    e.g. SSD RAID10 @ 200MB/s fair usage

say if the node is on a 10G network, but VPSes are capped at 1G or less, they are also advertised as such.

No, I don't even know them, what I was stating is IF you cheap out then expect a cheap and nasty service. If you want good service then expect to pay a fair price for it. From your post you seem to complain about $10 & $20 VPS a year being limited to 200MB which really people spend more then $20 on lunch for one day but you seem to be expecting a top grade server for that as you are taking the time to complain about it here

    Three year payment terms, woah.

Interesting to see QuadraNet allowing this to keep going for years without intervention. The whole company must be a mess.

  • Any evidence on what kind of Scam they did?
3-year payment is not a good model however they didn't escape for now.
200MB/s limitation on SSD is not a proof of your argument, any node server have a max IOPS, you can not occupy all node resources. Each provider have their own way of limitation.

  • This is a famous junk merchant on the mjj forum.
