cheap server for ESXi 7

Hey
I am searching for a server with around 32-64 (or more) GB of RAM and a "new" processor which can run esxi 7 . I already have a dedi but want to see if there are better offers;

currently I am running:
RepriseZZDED Special

2x Intel Xeon L5640 six core CPU with hyperthreading (12 cores, 24 threads)
32GB DDR3 RAM (server-grade registered memory)
1TB SATA hard drive.
1GB Port

and I am paying 35$

Aything cooler? :) doesnt matter where server is located. EU preferred but US also OK

thanks <3

thx, currently there, switchin from them as theyre too expensive I have to pay nearly 45€ which is around 50$
and at reprisehost i am paying just 35$ but just wanted to know if theres something better :)

  • You might take a look on netcup(not dedi), but performance should be better. But I'm not 100% sure that it will be possible to run Esxi(you should ask).

Take a note and read their terms.

  • Sys or Kimsufi on cheaper side. There is still no setup fee code going on kimsufi.

    https://www.soyoustart.com

Kimsufi and SoYouStart are both owned by OVH and are their budget and midrange dedi brands respectively.

Last I heard they don’t allow based virtualization unless you pay a ridiculous sum

  • will go for sys sounds awesome but the ones I want are all sold out. anyone has an idea how long "replenish" takes? like maybe in an hour, in a day or in two weeks new servers are available? :)

Don't count on all of them restocking, certain deals are limited.

Great, found a server there but bandwith is "only" 250MB. For 1GB seems hetzner is only cheap option right? might just stay with my current setup then.

Hetzner is pretty much the only place you'll get cheap unmetered 1Gbps on a dedi, and the OVH brands famously limit bandwidth more than is necessary. There are other providers, but I don't know of any within your budget that I could bring up off the top of my head.

Hetzner is basically the bandwidth king at that price range.

  • I see so now Im running E3-1270 v6 with 960GB SSD and 32GB at SoYouStart SyS - if theres anything better but yeah I think hetzner is the best. unfortunately I cant pay with usd
