My CPU is strong. It's old from 2013 with a great build up of protective dust, and damn solid cooler paste that's going to be impossible to remove.

Double / triple your budget, then you can get VPS with 3900X/5950X etc.
or wait until BF 2022 and then get 2/3 year plan. 3e/mo for 2 powerful cores is possible this way.

If these are compiling jobs, I assume you’ll need this VM from time to time. why don’t you take a look at preemptible VMs? More power, less money.

Hostcram has 11900k which has pretty good single core performance, but you will have to settle with single core at that budget.
I think hosthatch blackfriday servers are the best for you if you can wait. They're the only ones that have dedicated cores for a cheap price
