How did you get that? I looked at their website and that configuration was 144€/year.
Limited deal in December. No longer available.
How much do you pay for it monthly?
I think is like $14-15/month.

YABS
One of the old ionos servers. Score should be that low due to low amount of Ram.
epic!
Well over one year uptime. Impressive
How much does it cost?
SpeedyPage complimentary upgrade from 5950X to 7950X, well communicated and executed, so we now have this:
Comparison with old HW also available https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/compare/5108222?baseline=4990868
In the nutshell, +33% CPU, +50% NVMe performance, nice!
Very good service and support from SpeedyPage last year or so, @speedypage awaiting more good deals from you in the future, right here on LET. Might be interested in other locations...
@cybertech
Since it is 29-FEB-2024, let me do the honor of a YABS test, as this is your day off.
It would have been way longer. Had to reboot it once 😂
1€ Ionos. But had multiple months discount 50c per month.
Got another one of the latest line up and have 25 free months on it.
How do you get 25 free months?
I have an old ionos with the same specs. If you reinstall it you might achieve a gb6 score of 270 (my score). Currently I am paying the same 50ct/m
BERO Host

Yes, I already put yabs in my other thread, but I want everyone to see what non-oversold machinery looks like.

Look at that NVMe go!
Bero-host 8,99€/month
layer 7
solid. only diskspeed is unreasonably slow for an nvme drive, isn't it?
Yes, I think it is very slow and they should speed it up.
Explanation,
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3918741/#Comment_3918741
@layer7
Hi,
the limitation is 1k IOPS and 500 MB/s IO bandwidth.
I am not sure, if this can be called low as an amount of speed dedicated to a single VPS disk.
But we are always open for feedback. So where do you see a useful limit for this pricerange?
i find these values (from a competitor) useful in this price range:
@layer7 apart from that, the vps is a beast! except for the conspicuously low disc speed values compared to other competitors.
4k 10 MB/s - is limited in Contabo and Webtropia
4k 250+ MB/s (ceph) on Avoro
4k 100+ MB/s (local nvme) on Hetzner
4k 400+ MB/s (zfs) on Hostbrr
4k 250+ MB/s Clouvider
In my opinion, Ideal limit should be 150+ for nvme. But it's all about your sales strategy.
Hi,
thank you for the feedback and numbers!
Well the point in all this is that we want to maintain a good performance for everyone.
If you give customers 250 MB/s or even worst in 4k, it means that you gave them a lot of IOPS and bandwidth.
Thats nice for the numbers. But what happens actually if customer start to rely on this numbers?
I mean if you see " ok this server can take X MB/s or IOPS, then i can install my service Y ".
And maybe the storage system will be fine with some of this customers. But at some point a hand full of customers will be enough to kill the IO system.
So all customers will suffer ( typical shared hosting issue ).
Exactly this we want to prevent to happen.
But maybe we are too conservative, especially with the NVMe space.
So we will implement your suggestions @tra10000 and increase the IOPS numbers for the NVMe space. It actually anyway has tons of it by nature. Maybe it was not smart to pick the numbers like this. For the extra disks, backed by rotating disks, it makes sense, but actually not like this for NVMe....
Thanks for the feedback!
