They must also be getting into the hockey spirit, given the offside backups.

if main side goes off, they will autoboot backups also.

Idk maybe you can mine monero on it and make a profit since it's dedicated and won't bother anyone else. I think it's a pretty good deal.

    1 thread @ 3 GHz is about 500 MHz, https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=2000&HashingUnit=H/s&PowerConsumption=0&CostPerkWh=0&MiningPoolFee=1

But I feel like this would be a dick move since no way it's actually dedicated

    Not dedicated.

We provide 2 x vCPU and mining/cypto is not allowed.

Why does it say Dedicated Resource: Yes

Understandable you cannot mine crypto anyway

We are using KVM so RAM, Disk, etc., is dedicated.

Actually, you can oversell with KVM too (ballooning or swap for RAM, sparse file or LVM thin provisioning for disk), so knowing that we get dedicated RAM & disk is good. But the way you phrase it make some/many people think that they will get dedicated CPU too.

  • This is all around shady.

  • Tbh I’m pretty impressed he’s still around. Gotta give him some credit.

  • The ssd speed seems to be on the lower than usual.

    Is this a limitation?
