Saw older yabs. Around 2-2.5k for 4 cores

  • in the past there was high steal time.... don't know if that has changed.

anyway, good offer all the same.

...high steal on dedicated logical cores?

Well, maybe I'm lucky but steal with PHP-Friends and netcup is lowest I ever saw in this price. Thats exactly why I migrated everything to them, there's no slowdowns ever, I dont need to load balance on two VPSes...

I assume the deal will have cores pretty close/same to these.

  • And here is a 8 core bench. It's for GB4 not sure how that translates to GB5. Someone more experienced can chime in. https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/29411/#Comment_29411

"Mindestvertragslaufzeit 12 Monate" - means you closed a contract for at least 12 month. they only bill you every 6 months. didn't you read what it said before buying? 😆

cancellation period is 2 weeks towards the end of the contract term (not billing period).

Honestly if the 8 core server hits a 7-8k multi-core GB5 it would be great but I already have the wishoting ryzen machine for the same yearly price with twice the storage and 4 ryzen cores.

  • @BarkingIron said: Are the cores dedicated?

Yeah, from what I understand you get dedicated threads, not cores per se.

I don't think they will go higher than 2.7k-3k

Even 8 cores?! If they are dedicated considering it's even V3 shouldn't it touch 5K atleast
