  • I think SYS SAT 2 with gigabit down and 16TB disks is a much better deal

    “Sorry, this server is being restocked.”

  • The thing about the KS-LE that drove people nuts is that it's cheap and actually good.

    SYS-LE-1 by comparison is.. not that great . The other SYS offerings are just as good and sometimes better, especially if you get lucky with a bonus on one.

    Compare it to a SYS-1 or SYS-2 and SYS-3 and you'll be getting the same or better for less money.

    Yep i agree not a great deal it seems..

  • Not worth it. The SYS SAT 1 is a better value for money.

  • LE - is a title for "Legendary Edition", not all servers can go this category.

    LE = LowEnd
    Or Legendary

  • The LE officially means Limited Edition.

    KS-LE is legendary. The rest have just been meh.

  • Is this a reliable IDC ?

  • Who else is in the KS-LE club? I just noticed one doesn't exist, so it does now.

    KS-LE > *

  • I just got the email from OVH, it seems the SYS-LE-1 has 8TB of disk officially, rather than accidentally, and the network is upgraded from 100 Mbit/s to 500 Mbit/s. Obviously, some people managed to get the 1GBit/s, but it seems I only managed to get the basic disk and basic network. Still, overall happy with the BF special compared to the official deal.

    What's "upgraded" here, the official listing is 8TB and 500Mbit/s, is it not?

    EDIT: Ah yeah misread that

    I'd rather it had 1TB of SSD than a HDD, but at 500 Mbps it might not make a huge difference I guess.

    Just did it for you, but note that there is one VM running (currently idle, but customer will set up a mailserver there).
