SpeedyPage - London VPS Offers - 50% OFF all plans

Hey folks!
Back again with some repeats of our previous offers for the LowEndTalk community. We are currently levelling up our company massively with heavy investment in new infrastructure, as well as a brand new site which we hope to release within the next month. We will soon also be offering Corero DDoS protection with our services.
I thought I would come and spread the love once again as the LET community has treated us very kindly. All prices are designed to sell out existing hypervisors, ready for our new & freshened infrastructure/network within the coming months.

Got a YABS for the second machine?
Sure do, find it below
Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you have all had a good day if you're in the east, and good morning to everyone in the EU now opening their presents
I've took the plunge and tried one of their servers. The 8GB RAM one. So far support has been fast and responsive. Encountered a few issues unrelated to their VPS, which was solved fast. Too early to say much more. Here is a YABS
Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy to hear things are going smoothly now for you.
Those benchmark results on the disk actually seem incorrect, I believe related to an un-intentional misconfiguration by SolusIO staff that has since been resolved but may have affected your specific VM. Albeit not 'slow' still, we can improve this.
Feel free to reach out to our support desk for us to get it fixed for you and for the performance to at least quadruple!
Do you own your hardware?
Thanks for the question!
We use a mix of owned & rented hardware, new VPS orders would be deployed on custom ordered rented hardware for the time being however this is likely soon to change to fully owned with some upcoming changes we are yet to announce.
@speedypage can we get a repeat of BF hosting deal? Missed out and regret it since.
It's unlikely we will do the BF hosting deal again as it straight makes more or less zero profit, but we may come close within the next 1-2 months. We're currently investing a lot in our company, brand new site is being made, new VPS control panel, new BunnyCDN integration module as well as a branding overhaul.
May do some crazy deals when we launch all of these new things :-)
No web hosting deals for new years then? Aww man. I think your service and packages are amazing. Maybe post something slightly higher priced than BF?
What DNS servers do you use (as default) for your VPS?
Are these private DNS servers accessible only to the VPS machines or do you simply use public servers like 4.2.2.1 or Cloudflare, etc.
Also, if you do provide your own private DNS servers, are these enabled for DoT, DNSSEC, DoH, QUIC, etc...?
We make use of private DNS resolvers at this time per hypervisor, which is only accessible by VM's on each hypervisor. These aren't currently configured for DNSSEC etc.
We are however about to move to a new VPS control panel in the next 2-3 weeks, I will see if this is something we can further configure there.
OK. Thanks...
On a totally separate note
A few more issues with your current setup.
Your IP address range (as provided to VPS) are blacklisted by some sites. A prime example is ba.com, and some credit card verification sites.
A simple test... setup a basic VM, and try and navigate to ba.com from this VM. BA does not allow traffic from the VPS.
I believe that some of your IP ranges are being marked as blacklisted...
Thanks for letting us know! We don't actually have any blacklists on our current ranges so this may be more of a reputation thing (blocking server traffic for example).
We will take a look though, thanks again.
Thanks for looking into this. I got a VPS from Speedy yesterday… and I am already facing this issue.
I think it maybe an Akamai issue and your IP ranges may have a reputation problem.
Examples are ba.com, another example is MS Teams. While running Teams client on a VPS works, trying to transfer files does not work.
As I wrote earlier, a very simple test you can do is to create a VPS with any OS that has a GUI/ Web Browser. use the web browser to navigate to ba.com - and the problem exhibits itself clearly…
