Mini F.A.Q

Q: How can you offer such low prices?

A: Why not? By having our own Data center, hardware and network equipment we can offer a very good ratio between service price and quality.

Q: I hate you for no apparent reason. Why?

A: Take a look at our team. We are here for you and we love you! Have any doubts? Just give us a shout out at [email protected] ;)

Q: Can I receive a discount?

A: Do you really need one? Just look at our Annually or Biennially prices. Calculate. Are you feeling bad about asking for an additional discount?

Q: You enforce some limitations on a VPS. What the hell?

A: In order to maintain the best possible balance between service price and quality there is reasonable resource allocation for each service. Without such control, there would a disaster for both - customer and the provider.

Q: Do you allow...?

A: Check our TOS

Q: Is the discount recurring?

A: Yes, this deal is recurring.

Q: Can I get paid for referring customers?

A: Yes, from now on you can become a Time4VPS affiliate and get cashback on referred customer purchases. More info on website

  • Still selling OVZ VPSs?

  • Storage vps still stuck at ovz6? I would like to have some storage instances but having to use Debian 9 dealing with old softwares is a dealbreaker.

Some time ago, we have made the benchmark tests of our package, I believe you can find the fio test here:

    https://serverscope.io/trials/YPx9

However, it is just very general, the actual performance would depend on your usage/configuration, which I assume you are aware of.

Port Speed on Website is 100 Mbps But Benchmark is ~500 Mbps
Which is the correct one ?

I believe the server that was used for this test had a 1Gbps component, so port speed values on the test might have been higher compared to the default 100Mbps port speed.

A YABS benchmark on Container VPS C2 will be very much appreciated. Because if there are many clients sharing one 100 Mbps port, it can clog the network.

Just curious about the Guaranteed CPU posted above v/s YABS. Why this difference?

    Processor : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630L v4 @ 1.80GHz
    CPU cores : 1 @ 1800.000 MHz

  • Had one for a few months. Decent deal.

  • Is it really pure ssd disks there? The disk i/o seems to be very very low.

The disks for Container VPS are SSD, but we do limit I/O and IOPS regardless of the disk type. However, I believe we are planning changes for these limits to increase it.

We did not give /64 ever. Since the introduction of IPv6, we assign one of each IPv4 and IPv6 addreses for a new VPS. However, if there is a need, you can request more IPv6 addresses(free of charge).

    Thanked by 1cold

Yeah this has been case since past year! Little disappointed with this. Due to this I have other two different providers with time4vps.

  • NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE "QUOTA" PACKAGE, or your VM will be unbootable.
Yes, I broke my VM twice :D
