Vps for Vpn which provider ?

Hello all,
I'm looking for a provider that basically offers a small Linux vps and that doesn't give out any data.

Which provider protects the data of its users ?

Have now heard of Alexhost who have their own datacenter etc. Is there otherwise so offshore hoster that are in the price segment 15-20 euros per year ? RAM and CPU I do not care main thing ipv4 and no data surrender.

And what protection you would demand for 20euro/yt? 50 armed guards in datacenter?

If youre target of someone who has resources to go around the world and pressure providers to give out your data... then it will be very dumb to imagine that provider will fight with him for your privacy because you got VPS for price of IPv4.

Very good point, Well, it should be a provider that does not give out IP address or anything else.

I mean he just does not have to log and various of VPN providers like perfect-privacy or ovpn.to do not give out any data.

You will be only one connecting to this VPS. Gov can easily track you without touching provider just by watching connections. Thats why TOR exist, so data isnt centralized in one point. VPN isnt meant for what you trying to achieve.

And what if you run a Tor relay in parallel ? Then it becomes much more difficult or not ?

  • Huh lol. I know VPN providers that have custom kernel for their machines, set their dedi up themselves to their standard through special requirements, do regular audits, encrypt their data so it looks complete garbage to the internet. And you expect some random provider will not log anything for 15-20 euro year and the internet connection should be unmetered in that budget. Go sell some popcorns.

    Do NOT trust @Mann_Dude!

Because his location of residence is not on the isle of Mann. How deceiving.

That will depend on what you will do. If you don't break the TOS, you will be fine. Until court order from local law... That ONLY happen if you did something wrong at least very bad.

For data protection of users you have many, but keep in mind, if you break or you do something that is illegal in their location of servers your data won't be protected.

What you asking is hard because you are asking for provider that won't give your information for few bucks for year.. And your budget is very low, specially for VPS.

    Here is some Hosting Providers
    https://alexhost.com/vps/
    https://incognet.io
    https://flokinet.is
    https://njal.la
    https://serverastra.com
    https://novogara.com
    https://BuyVM.net
    https://privatelayer.com

Prices won't match what you Requested (but this is all I can give to you). Don't expect cheap. Some of them might be cheap, others don't.

For example life in Switzerland is not cheap, business there is not so easy and cheap..

    1. Countries like Iceland, Finland, Switzerland, Rússia, Costa Rica, Seychelles, Panamá are the best for privacy, but is not cheap (I would call this High Data Privacy), we can include Netherlands but things are being changed in Netherlands. But still a good country to host for now.

We can call "Moldova, US, Romenia, Sweden, Hungary, Ukraine, Luxembourg" for privacy of course, where the probability of you find a provider with cheap prices is much higher than point 1. But don't think you will be protected against everything. You won't, but still a good to go.

Always will depend in what you will host, or what kind of activity you will do, no matter the country. The content and what you are doing and hosting is what matters, then comes the law of those countries. If is illegal or not.

Anyway I'm tired of writing. I wish you find maybe you can find it 5€ yearly VPS with 4GB RAM in Switzerland.

  • No hosting company will protect your data from authorities. If you're conducting what is considered illegal activity in that country then the hosting company will be forced to respond to a lawful legal request. That being said, if you're not conducting illegal activity, you can host a Tor relay to anonymize your own traffic so that inbound/outbound traffic is mixed. Use common sense and remember that you're the only one who has access to that VPS and that your IPv4 is provided to specifically you and that any illegal activity (whether yours or not) is going to be your responsibility.

  • Get whatever is closest to you

  • 1984Hosting, Bahnhof. I am using both for that purpose.

1984,Hosting you should take a look in their TOS and Privacy Policy for a hosting with says "Privacy"... Also AUP.. they don't own datacenter.

Bahnhof is 10 times better than 1984
