If you're going for a > VPS with 10gbps, you can divide that by at least 16. You'd need a dedicated with a dedicated port much more than $10.

Realistically you probably don't need 10gbps.

  • Why do you need 10Gbps if you're only using 5TB transfer per month?

HostHatch have 40Gbps in some of their locations.

We can match your exact specifications, however with 7Gbit network speed rather than 10 for £7.49 ($10 per month).

Let me know if interested! :)

Thanks for the suggestions and offer.

5TB is our minimum usage per month.
Since we started this project 6 months ago.

But upload speed requirement sometimes 1gbps on peak hours isn't sufficient.

  • Check out @InceptionHosting latest thread. My VPS there has a 10G port and they are very affordable.

Honestly sounds like it's for (D)DoS attack

Any E5 based server is probably going to normally have 64 people on it at least. If there's 32 threads sold as cores with the average being 50% dedicated, that's 64 on a good day, likely more like 25% dedicated at 128 people.

If you take 40k (which is great and not typical) / 128, you're getting roughly 300mbps.

It's probably time for a dedicated port, which is much more expensive than $10.

  • Nice offer and specs from @InceptionHosting
    Thanks for that.
