    I'm new with HostCram so apologies if I've missed something but has anybody else seen where enabling Tun/Tap just breaks the machine and requires a reinstall?

    The tun tap code has changed on Proxmox VE 7.

    You just need to ask me to add it on your VPS when you enable tun tap from the panel.

    Hi,

    Apologies for a basic question, but what is the use of Tun/Tap on VPS except for VPN purpose?

    I have heard couple of folks using Tun/Tap on their VPS and some of the control panels have that option but I cant figure out what could be the use case of this option.

    As such nested virtualization is not allowed on VPS (where we can use Tun/Tap) so cant figure out what else use cases or advantages can be for enabling Tun/Tap on a VPS.

    Will really appreciate if you could share your knowledge.

    This plan was updated 2 or 3 months ago I think. I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish here now.

    If you have brought Email-4G with 10 IP before the changes, you're not getting charged any additional fees and you can keep all your 10 of IPv4.

    The change and setup fees is for new orders only.

    We simply get more orders for Email-4G than we can handle every month and those changes gave us some headroom while also improving the renewal rate.
