    Hi guys, my apologies for the late response, let me address some concerns that we received on our offer.

    @TheMister said:
    I've been using Hyonix since BF2020 and the machine works quite good, considering its hardware. Connection is fast - at least in UK - you can choose different Windows Server version - I personally have 2012 as it seems to be lighter

    Thank you :D

    @drakula said: which version of windows?

    @KuKluxKlab said:

    @dTQzBen8 said: The speedtest point is provided by Hyonix itself. So you just had pinging a neibor i guess?

    Point being it's not a New York server

    1. The server is in Equinix NY2 (strictly speaking it's NJ but within the NY Metro) and the latency should be still sub 1ms if you test to Manhattan.
    2. You are using speedtest web version and testing on a 1 Gbps node, you should test more nodes and use their App version instead.
    3. If you are referring to extremely high frequency trading, most of the "exchanges" or "brokers" are located in NJ (aka Equinix NY1/4 or 165 Halsey), they are no longer in downtown NY (most of them have migrated away as NJ is more reliable than NY in term of natural disaster).
    4. We have a new site design coming up that will have lots more in-depth details about our service. The current homepage is quite outdated. My apologies for the inconveniences.

    If you still insist on getting a downtown NY server, please open a ticket and we will have the order cancelled and refunded.

    the cpu limit is 50%,and you run a windows.good luck :D

    In case you haven't read the term carefully, let me rephrase. Each vCore is a 50% dedicated thread with the ability to burst to 100% when the node is idle. I don't think you will see many providers guarantee a dedicated CPU resource at our promo pricing :)

    @drakula said: which version of windows?

    We are currently offering Licensed 2012 R2 and 2016.

    @kheng86 said: Windows only, no custom ISOs

    @nobizzle said: Install windows and run a Linux VM on it.

    Yes, the term is clearly mentioned on our offer, our brand is specifically designed for Windows experience. There are many other great offer around if you are looking for a Linux machine ;)

    @comXyz said: Is this info correct?

    Yes ;)

    @cadddr said: Running windows with 2GB will be a fun experience.

    There should be no problem at all (considering your usage is lightweight). This is why 2GB is our smallest package, as we've run multiple tests and anything lower than 2GB RAM just feel sluggish for Windows experience.

    @dTQzBen8 said: The speedtest point is provided by Hyonix itself. So you just had pinging a neibor i guess?

    That speedtest server is not ours, all our servers are equipped with 40 Gbps network port but capped at 10 Gbps per VM, just have to pick the server that support 10 Gbps uplink and use Speedtest app and you should see the result as advertised ;)

    @FairShare said: Finally grabbed this one! Needed a Windows VPS for one of my custom application!.

    Thanks LET!

    Hope you like it! Do let me know if you need anything :D

    "- High Network Usage: Must not constantly use network at full speed (1/10 Gbps) for more than 2 hours."
    Does 1/10Gbps mean "1 or 10" or "1 out of 10 Gbps"?

    i would presume it means youre allowed to nail the network for up to about 90 mins, whether your assigned network BW is 1G or 10G. XD
    More seriously it seems just like a clarification of every other 'share the server you a-hole' AUP.

    The term means that you shouldn't use the entire port for longer than 2 hours, (1/10 Gbps) means that we have nodes with 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps uplinks. However this is not strictly enforced as we have 40 Gbps port on every server (10G capped per VPS), as long as the entire node performance is not degraded, you can use as much bandwidth as you needed, we will notify you via ticket if there is an issue.

    none need this windows vps

    What if I say it's possible to convert Windows to Linux without VNC/ISO Mounting, and it's easy :

    1. Grab a linux box from one of your idle collections, and runwget https://moeclub.org/attachment/LinuxShell/InstallNET.sh && bash InstallNET.sh -d 11 -v 64 -a --ip-addr [IPv4 address] --ip-mask [Netmask] --ip-gate [Gateway] --loader -p [Root password]

    2. Download initrd.imgand vmlinuzfrom /root/loader

    3. Open your Windows VPS, upload aforementioned files to C:\win32-loader, download this script https://moeclub.org/attachment/WindowsSoftware/win32loader.bat, execute it w/ admin privilege, Choose Local file initrd mode and hit your keyboard by instructions, reboot, wait, and there you have a linux box running Debian bullseye.

    Is this method successful in this Special Windows VPS?

    If this VPS is not running on some sort of paravirtualized Hyper-V, you could give it a try though.

    Update: Secure boot seems to be enforced, therefore it won't be feasible to load custom bootloader, correct me if I am wrong.

    That is correct, we enforced Secured Boot on all our VMs, you won't be able to reinstall the server to another OS. Again, we've specifically stated that we won't support custom ISO or other OS (not under Hyonix brand at least).

    Please don't order one if you intend to reinstall the server to another OS.

    All 30 Coupon quantity has been used up, thank you for participating in our offer!

    A few orders are not yet paid though, if those gets cancelled, we will reopen stock for tomorrow.

    Let me know if you guys have any questions!

    The plan this year was just to keep the Black Friday offers running over Cyber Monday also, however we got a LOT of feedback saying the disks were too big and the bandwidth was too high and can we not do the same deal as last year etc.

    So the Black Friday coupons have been expired and we are doing a final sale based on the now reduced to match resources from last year sale on 2, 3 and 4 GB Ram plans in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Phoenix.

    These offers will expire once 12 hours has passed without an order or we simply run out of stock, so don't hang around :disappointed:

    NO COUPON NEEDED JUST SELECY YEARLY BILLING
