    @IonSwitch

Same price but latter got 2x2TB storage?(Oh it SSD and HDD)

And the SSD server has a 10G port, but the HDD only has a 1G port.

Yet, if you click the offer it says 2Gbit at 333TB BW for the HDD one.

Can someone hold me back, please? My budget is only between 40-50$, but it seems so tempting and @VirMach is a genuine dissapointment right now....

We originally planned to offer this as a 2x1G bonded server offering, but I wasn't able to get that to automatically provision in time for the offer to go through. If anyone still wants this as a 2x1G bond, I'm happy to get that setup via ticket for you at no additional cost :)

  • @cmeerw said: otherwise the offer is gone before you have even finished reading the description

Yeah, I kinda agree with that too. I guess in the end LET is as fair as life. (it's not fair)

Just do it, you will not be disappointed with premium IonSwitch, did I mention they have their own datacenter space?

I heard something about the next deal... it is fantastic.

  • Obligatory GIF before I take my leave:

(C'mon providers! Give these people the random deals they desire instead of building your own cult!)

But is it a dedicated server with shitloads of storage.

Can you reveal which one it is? I want to register an account in advance :D

  • @Nekki said: But is it a dedicated server with shitloads of storage.

but not shitshitload of storage, because this is too much for Nekki!

  • @cmeerw said: Why would you then initiate payment or reach out to helpdesk if you know it's not for you?

Because it is nice to care about others and not be a dick. You reserve a limited offer. you figure out before paying it is not for you. (because you are an idiot who did not read). Then fucking cancel it and let someone else have it! don't just play dead, no payment and no cancellation! That's least level of ethics that a human should have, otherwise you are not eligible to live nor deserve to live in a society.

I am, just in an opposite direction.

But to be fair they do have their own datacenter space, which shows that they are not a small provider and is trustable :)

As much as I like storage, I like the wife more. The wife will not like me spending 270EUR/month on storage. I've already bought three arcade machines this year and she hasn't said a thing. I am not pushing my luck.
