I get around 5 Gbps when unencrypted.
If you're using HostHatch's internal network, make sure you enable jumbo frames (on the internal network only) by setting the MTU to 9000, eg:
auto eth1
iface eth1 inet static
address 10.xxx.xxx.xxx
netmask 255.0.0.0
mtu 9000
I think I was only getting around 200 Mbps without jumbo frames.
WireGuard will automatically adjust its MTU based on the underlying network adapter's MTU.
Thanks! I would have bet $20 I set MTU on all three servers but turned out only 2/3. Same as you, ~200Mbps without Jumbo and about 1Gbps with jumbo. Non-encrypted 4-8Gbps.
My NVMe VPS in Los Angeles is back up now. It was down for around 1.5 hours. Seems like the network was completely down - both the internal and external networks. The VPS was still running though.

by the way, I smells EPYC offers from @hosthatch on next blackfriday. ๐
I'll go one further, there will be deals on this Black Friday!
Aye! I am already add some funds to my HH account. ๐
Add eggs now, chickens will hatch on BF.
According to outage notifications received today, looks like LA is getting hardware installed this week to go to 40G soon...
I got this email but it seems to only be for storage VPSes? The email subject says "Upcoming maintenance - Los Angeles - Storage"
It also affects NVMe boxes - I got this email this morning "Upcoming reboot notification - Los Angeles - NVMe"
Interesting! I didn't get that email. Maybe it's just some nodes?
I can confirm I received it on 2x storage nodes

My LA VPS is down now, but I did not receive any maintenance email
There was maintenance earlier today, but this is definitely an outage now as my 3x LA services are down as of 16 mins ago...
(edit: and as I typed that, they all came back...)
Thanks for your info. I only have 1 VPS there. Hope it gets fixed soon
FYI you need to login & reboot your server
FYI no you don't
maybe u are lucky

it's just down again!
yep, it's down again

My LA storage VPS lost IPv6 connectivity after the upgrade.
and it's slower than before. seems like a downgrade for me.
ok
Anyone open any recent tickets and got an answer from @hosthatch?
Mine is already up. Is yours still down?
Servers are up for me as well now, was just wondering if anyone had a ticket open and received an answer for it at all.
