How to daily scan server for WordPress Virus and Malware?
Hi,
I host some WordPress websites on an Ubuntu 20.04 server and recently my hosting provider blocked my server, because it found malware/phishing on one of the websites:
https://mydomain.com/wp-content/ae/ar/amxqr/NV6588123/
I was given temporary access and deleted all malware files, updated WordPress/Plugins. Provider unblock the server; all is fine now. But… I want to prevent the chance of this happen in the future.
So, are there any tools / scripts that I can run daily using a cronjob that scans my entire server for malware and virus? Specially the ones affecting mostly WordPress websites?
Any advice to have a daily routine for check / scan, is welcome. Thanks!

I know my control panel has some special fortification feature and virus scans for wordpress. I am using apiscp for my shared hosting, and it's using clamd for virus scans
No control panel here. So I need to manually run using ssh/cronjob
You can try out ImunifyAV standalone edition.

I have found this:
https://www.tecmint.com/install-linux-malware-detect-lmd-in-rhel-centos-and-fedora/
It's Linux Malware Detect (LMD) with ClamAV working together. Any opinion?
