WHMCS Bitcoin module?

swedendedicatedswedendedicated Member, Host Rep

Any free bitcoin module out there? I know there are modules that take 1% but that quickly adds up to hundreds/thousands dollars per year. We use a free module now but it has a lot of bugs and sometimes payments are not processed and invoices not marked as paid. We're ok to pay a on-time fee for a good module that supports xpub address

Try BTCPAY, it's selfhosted and no fees, well except the transfer fee

I was that one but it says you need a bitpay account... I think most of us know not to use bitpay.

I tried this for awhile. It's a bit unpolished. I cant vouch for long term reliability. So far it works when I tried it. It supports BTC, BCH and LTC. Also is self-hosted and free and supports xpub addresses. A bonus too is that it already has a WHMCS module.

I just liked how blockonomics works so switched back to that. But yeah with a big enough transcations yearly, 1% would be something huge in the long run.

Can you share what you previously used tho?

Strange, haven't had issues with blockonomics. Oh well. Probably I dont have that much transactions anyway to notice. Oh but I did have this one issue with them, when I changed my xpub, some transactions were still going to the old one. It's affected 1 or 2 users only tho.

    Anyway, good luck. :)

No issues with them, just that the 1% adds up quickly and you have to top-up your account, understandably because it's non-custodial.

    What about Coinify?
    https://help.coinify.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014078380-Merchant-fees

Coinify merchants are not charged any sign up fees or payment processing fees.
Can choose to immediately transfer the BTC to €/USD currency after customer payment as well and have it paid weekly.
Using them for years, our Cash is in time on our bank account every week. Payout via SEPA.

Customer sends 6,95€ in Bitcoin/LTC whatever as per current rate and you have 6,95€ EURO balance immediately. Balance paid weekly via SEPA without Fee or minimum weekly automatically to your bank.

Im Not wasting my time over Administration due to taxing bureaucracy AIDS etc etc etc with the always changing BTC Rate.

It seems that a lot of people in Asia are using USDT as a trading currency, I'm using this plugin and it's great.

Hi! Sorry for reviving an old thread. Author of BitcartCC here. Could you please tell me what were the main issues you saw when using it (the unpolished stuff and instability you mentioned). We run tests on every change to ensure payment processing works. There was one more release since you tried, 0.6.1.0, fixing many bugs like backups creation and notification providers. We've also added new currencies support: eth, bnb,erc20, bep20 tokens.

If someone writes to us in a community group the bug is usually fixed fast. Could you please write a small review of how you liked/disliked using it? Thanks a lot!

Its a lot more on the UI and how transaction data is stored. I already forgot what the issues was. But overall the UI was a bit terrible and couldnt find some transactions that were on the database easily. Also the WHMCS module could also needs some UI rework too.

It was a long time ago when I tried it, probably near a year ago, so cant really remember it. Probably will give it another go when I get the time. But I still recommended it here, since I know dev (you) was pretty active.

  • About finding stuff: the 0.6.1.0 release added improved search engine where you can search filter by exact field values, or for example get all invoices created last week. As for the UI-yeah, I get what you mean. If we had a designer :D
Anyway, thanks a lot for telling your experience!
