in Requests
Hello!
I am looking for a VPS with following specs:
- min. 2GB RAM
- min. 2 Cores
- min. 100GB disk space (could be HDD)
- min. 200mbps
- preferred unmetered bandwidth
- could be located almost anywhere in the world
The price per month should be lower than $5.
Can anyone help me? Do you know such a provider? Thank you!

If you are okay with decent performance, you can find SSDNodes's offer here https://www.ssdnodes.com/
8GB RAM
100GB SSD
2 vCPU
4TB transfer
49/yr
BW is not unmetered.
Contabo? $6.99 for 8GB RAM, 200GB SSD or 50GB NVMe.. About the best you'll get.

don't.
Explain
cpu steal is too big. not worth it
Do you have to pay yearly, or can you do monthly?
we can do the following deal:
2GB Memory
100GB HDD
2 vCore CPU
5TB Bandwidth
1 IPv4 Address
1 IPv6 Subnet (/112)
HDD Storage
Xen HVM
Full Root Access
Anti-DDoS Protection
Virtualizor Panel
Self-Managed Service
99.9% Uptime SLA
14 Day Money Back
£3.50 per month (min terms is 3 months so it will cost £10.50)
It's metered then
I got SSDNodes server earlier this year.
Like their name sugests, they like SSDs very much. They like them so much that they are placing your "RAM" on them. xD
If you like DDR1 speeds then go with it
Basically avoid ssdnodes at all cost, in case you didn't catch the subtle hints already mentioned.
Imagine SSDnodes is the plague. Imagine your exposure is critical. Run.
If you have very high expectations, > @ItsAsylum said:
You need to pay for 3yrs in advance, i.e., $147. If you select the monthly option, the price is insanely high ($20/month).
They have been in business for 9+ years, so I do not think they will steal your money. I have been using their VPS for 3+ years.
Since the price is meager, my expectations are also low. But their servers are rock-solid; I do not remember any downtime except for maintenance or migration.
Here is the benchmark. This is their "performance VPS" with NVMe. You can see how slow it is. That's why I use their VPS mainly for backup purposes.
Thank you all so much!
Will definitely avoid SSDNodes then.
What about TNA Hosting (performance)? Someone recommended it here.
Thank you all!
TNA are a much better choice, but I haven't used their service for years so maybe wait for someone else to confirm.
performance is pretty good, but it is hdd so dont expect it to be super quick. the cpu is fine.
for uptime, i have experienced one incident a while ago, but now it seems to be better
Thank you all! I just grabbed a VPS from TNA.
