impossible
I think it'll be 140% of the EU price.
I am not buying if they can't do the same price like their EU locations.
Me tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That's not very expensive
Same price as the EU.
Depending on the server it could be!
I think the prices will be the same. Only as I can't see them selling dedicated servers and this is just an expansion of their cloud locations.
As there is price difference already between their existing locations (Germany and Finland), I am almost sure the US prices will be higher.
Prices will be different, most likely.
There is? I certainly do not have any price differences in my account with Hetzner.
That's what I thought +1
I was talking about dedicated servers.
I think they will try with cloud first and if it works, dedis later.
IMO there is no reason to be more expensive in US as they will probably use the same carriers all locations (like we do) and buy wholesale in all locations together.
Germany is not less expensive than US regarding energy, for example, or carriers. If anything, they should at least register economies of scale.
You must suck at Jeopardy.
They seems to plan with Cloud solutions only in US. It makes sense for them to have same price. However they may add about 20% as some tax obligations apply for their US entity.
West coast us is better
Fiddy dollars says its Dallas
Ashburn is a good central location for both America and Europe
I'm guessing Ohio or Chicago-ish
I believe they're doing Ashburn. It's the logical next step for them, considering Ashburn is a centralized, popular, Internet Exchange route.
Having higher prices than in EU will be shot in their knees after last ip price increase as well as taxes for US based companies
Prices will be the same as EU.
I think US prices will be higher compared to Germany and Finland.
That about sums up how we're feeling here. --Katie
Probably start with $5/m for Cloud plans
I am interested in a Dedicated Server.
25% more expensive.
I bet 20% higher pricing than europe
