Whats your domain? Ask for a gay friend.
You'll not get that from any low-end provider, even if you pay a chunk for it. Their business models and infrastructure are not setup for it and any that claim otherwise should not be trusted. Even with a more expensive provider you will at best get an insurance policy that means they'll pay out if some does get lost or corrupted and even that may be worthless depending on legal jurisdictions, if the company dies, or DCs are burned down, etc.
To get close to the guarantee you want you need a provider large enough to offer geographically dispersed replicas/backups, something like Azure/Amazon/other cloud storage, and note that any claim of “nothing will ever be lost” is worthless without a legally enforceable “or we'll pay you X for every Y that is”, or better still use multiple providers and manage the data replication and consistency checking yourself.
That way leads to nothing but arguments when (not if, when) something goes wrong. If you need guarantees you need strictly stated promises with enforceable repercussions for non-compliance.
I wonder, is the content you intend to provide of legal nature? (ie does not violate any laws? age(actors of legal age)/content type(non revenge, animals,...)/copyright/...?)
Personally i find that most Providers offering dedicated servers around here will be fine, with hosting pornographic content, as long as it is
a) legal in their jurisdiction
b) doesn't lead to any copyright notices being sent their way
I also find that a lot of inquiries relating to "guarantees of availability/non-removal" when it comes to website content, end up being legally questionable materials.
yep pretty much what @SGraf said, and you can run on more lowend hardware, i would say if its important for you just make it redundant yourself, if its legal OVH, Hetzner will host it, just store offsite backups or run a mirror with another provider, the only good way to guarantee no data loss is a solid host and run your own multiple backups.
Is what you are about to host legit? If there are copyright / legal issues, then the content will most likely have to be taken down. Choose wisely and as @fiend mentioned : offsite backups and redundancy is the key to have your site always up.
buyvm slice + slab
total would be around 120 usd
right now they have stock in las vegas for slice and slab
Why 36GB? That seems like lower performance than just using 32GB.
