Cloudcone.com VPS Benchmark - Stay away!!!!
I know them through Facebook ads. The price is quite cheap when compared to DigitalOcean or Linode. But let's see
My VPS Configuration
2 vCPU Core
2GB RAM
100GB SSD
3TB bandwith on 1 Gb/s
$12.91/m

So what's wrong with the VPS?
wow.. cool.. nice specs there
Bandwidth is too bad. You can read that in the benchmark reports
Gratz with your first post.
As the price you are paying I don't think you paid for a dedicated 1 Gbps port.
So the speed is ok, try to test another time.
I have been reading LAT for a long time. But because my English is not good, I did not register an account and comment.
I have been a customer of buyvm or letbox for a long time
Add some swap to it in order GB5 work properly.
I canceled my vps and asked for a refund a few minutes ago
I'd say for the price this is pretty prem
Specs:
You can ask them to transfer your service to the other node.
It's cpu is not very good, but still great value for money.
CPU matter ,
load dancing, .... %cpu ... cpu steal ...
not recomended for production
moved a few weeks ago
sorry i don't have proof

This was taken from a small LXC Box on my otherwise (currently) idling Proxmox install on the Dedicated Server I won. Bandwith definitely is more here, however, now that I am comparing, the fio test for Blocksize 512k seems to be significantly (?) lower than some others here. Probably need to check if there is something left to configure in Proxmox, or, perhaps Cloud servers use NVME and the dedi I got is SSD only. Network speed definitely is quite well (again, dedicated server). Regardless, even now I won't complain about the speeds. Good enough for me
As opposed to:
Benchmark from the Cloudcone Dedicated Server I won in the giveaway (currently used for a Proxmox install with 1 small idle vps). Still need to set up some more LXC
Here is our 2 AMD vcore plan taken from a server with clients on it.
I have a 15$ deal from last black friday. Node is oversold & CPU steal is always there. Not usable as a production server. It's ok for my personal use cases considering the price. Moved vm once but didn't help.
2core+2GB+40GB+3TB 15$ year not bad.
I got a 1 core, 2GB ram, 40GB SSD server for $15/yr that is not great when it comes to benchmarks but it is quite stable. Happy with the value.
I have just assumed that if you pay real money instead of $1-$2/mth that they put you on better servers .
Cloudcone servers, specially those from last bf is poor performers on cpu and disk i/o. There you get exactly what you paid for.
Seriously, the entire fucking year, they run a fucking flashsale.
The same shit they run on Black Friday.
Do you really thing its any special? Of course these nodes are dense packed.
Its like Virmach, same phenomenon.
Bottom pricing, not limited, dense as fuck.
What you want is, bottom pricing, limited, on cocainum.
i am enjoy on poor (cheap) fiberia.io..... still usable
At that time, I paid $12.91/month
