DirectAdmin Partitions

tjntjn Member

I was curious as to how many of you use the less simple partition structure for your DirectAdmin servers?

If you do, have you managed to automate the partitioning process via script/orchestrator? Or do you just deploy an image? Do it manually? Something else?

If you use a simple partition, tell me why too!

  • Why would you use the less partition layout? You can easily automate the advanced structure, too. It's working good and has some advancements if you have /home on a separate partition and if you use rhel maybe /var too so you can optimize for DBs.
