Does OVH Waive Their Setup Fees
Hi, I am looking for a OVH dedicated server with 64 GB DDR (US, CA, EU) without commitment, but the set-up fee is pretty high. OVH's Rise-3 setup fees is $115 which is 50% higher than its monthly fee of $80.

Do they ever waive setup fees? I see currently there's a "No setup fee" promo on Rise-1, but it does not seem to be applied during checkout if I select the "Without commitment" option.

Hello, this really depends upon which OVH branch you are looking at. The OVH US branch are the most 'giving' in this respect, normally if you contact sales they will normally offer 50% discount on setup fees; with some pushing 100% is quite achievable. Contact sales is the best advice for OVH US via their livechat, for OVH World it's unlikely to get those removed easily.
