  • Yes.

About 95% of the offers on Server Hunter nowadays are spidered and automatically updated every 24 hours. If you have some examples, just use "Report a mistake" and it'll be looked at as soon as possible. :)

Not to sure about this idea.

  • So I went ahead and started on the project.
If no one cares in a year or so when its where I want it to be at the very least I will have another portfolio item and a code base to use for other projects.

    Currently at:
    https://webservertube.com

It doesn't seem to be a single offer displayed there, it's just empty. Not a good start.

Catalogue work near to same way like marketplace. And have same pros and cons. From one side you place your offer on high traffic site and increase visits to your site. From other side - you will come into price war with your direct competitors.

    You are correct.
After some investigation I have a configuration issue with Cloudflare. If I can't figure that out in a hurry I will just use the normal DNS.

    Thanks for the feedback.

  • I reverted the DNS until i can workout the related issues.

    Should be up now.

  • @trycatchthis

    Saying:

In total there are 0 offers.

  • Still seeing empty list

  • I tested this on several devices. The most I can figure is that the DNS has not updated as yet or the browser is caching the index.html.

https://webservertube.com/index.php Maybe this will work instead.

Thank you for your feedback and your patience.

    This is what I see:

  • I still see an empty list even from other devices

Are you using cloudflare dns by any chance?

  • AllHost_RepAllHost_Rep Member, Patron Provider

Same here, empty lists. Not using cloudflare DNS.

We have a case of works for me but nobody else.

    Something to do with:

    Cache busting a react app,
Maybe the firewall is blocking ip addresses that aren't mine. (I whitelist mine)
    CORS.
    Cached cloudflare DNS.

    Gonna look into these.

Thank all of you for your feedback.

  • A time out is often a sign of firewall blocking service. So I opened that port. Lets see if that helped.

  • Now I can see some offers.
But sorting by price does not work.

  • So it seems that it was the firewall.

Pushed an update, may need to control + shift + r to see it until I figure out how to fix the caching issue.

  • Is everyone able to see this now?

    Would any feedback be possible?

Sorting works, but it seems that BuyVM LV nodes are registered in duplicate.

This is basically a prototype that could be used as a basis for further development.

If there is interest I could continue to work on it and add all the providers and add more features.

  • I can see the list now. All the best with more improvements.

What improvement would make it useful to you?

  • This comes down to 2 main options:

    1) Add more offers
    2) Implement new features

How much of each should I be doing?

  • None of the filters work. I picked reseller, CPanel, clicked Apply Filters. Still the same offers.

Fix search. Add more offers. Break down offers better.

  • P.S. You have a long way to go. I didn't even know about Server Hunter but their site is awesome and has tons of info on each provider.

I implemented the filter controls recently but not queries for them to work so most of them are just for show.

I look through the other offer listing sites and I noticed that server hunter seems to be the best implementation.

It would take about a year or 2 to make this site as good or better.

In less time than that it could be the number 2 site but with features none of the others have as yet.
