[FREE] Definitely-not-cPaneI DirectAdmin Skin / Custom CSS

edited July 2021 in General

Some time ago I played with DA on a reseller account, and I didn't get along with it very well. Something felt off, I guess I'm just too used to the cPanel look.
So, yesterday I installed DA for the first time on a fresh SYS dedi and decided to make myself feel at home by playing a bit with css. I'm aware that the code is atrocious, but it works and I don't have time to make it look nicer. Some functionality has been removed from the right widget bar to make it look nicer in my eyes. If you want you can just remove those few display:none's.
Obviously do not copy cPanels icons unless you want them contacting you sooner or later.

To Install:
1) Change to Evolution skin
2) Go to "/usr/local/directadmin/data/skins/evolution/assets/"
2.5) Upload this https://raw.githubusercontent.com/vovler/custom-css-da/main/custom.css
3) Go to "Customize Evolution Skin"
3.5) At "External CSS URL" write "/assets/custom.css"

If you'd like to compare the before and the after:
