Hi there,

I was wondering if there is anything cheaper than what I currently have. I am currently with Zoho Mail, using SMTP POP/IMAP to send emails through my PHP Service.

Anything else asides from SES, looking for monthly or yearly

I've heard good things about https://mail.baby

What do you pay currently? How can someone suggest a cheaper alternative without that data.

I just started using mailjet, as it was recommended by someone on this forum a few weeks ago.

Its pretty good, 30k emails per month for $10/m

Replaced my super expensive $40/m constant contact with it and so far - so good.

MailGun also has a good per email sent pricing afaik

I haven't used it, but Sendgrid offers 40k emails per month for $15.

  • When I used mailgun, I had some emails go to "promotion" in gmail, not sure why. What type of mail are you sending? Postmark has the best delivery for transactional/non-marketing emails, you can also use mxroute for outbound relay.

Amazon. SES is one of the best, never had problems with delivery.

  • Postmark is expensive, but is the best. Mailgun cheaper is also good.

SMTP2Go has worked well for me, but I don't send many emails through it so I've only tried the free tier (1000 emails per month). Delivery has been better than SES.
