This is blackholing (at least it was like that when I used them) and after a DDoS attack the server goes suspected. In this thread, we need DDoS specifically for games (active mitigation). Like the protection offered by OVH Game or path.net.
Some providers have such mitigation that before it start, it takes even a few minutes, which is not acceptable in game servers.

. Our default protection is pretty solid for random attacks and what not. But if you need some hardcore filtering, @SplitIce seems to have something that's pretty solid.
