This was my question too. I guess the DNS cluster will grow one slice stronger.

If I want to use it just for anycast, will there be stock available in August, or should I just order one now and keep it idle until anycast is up and running? If you expect every anycast customer to eventually get a VPS in Miami, will you hold some stock for the current customers using Anycast?

Also please ask Karen to consider bringing back the discount for yearly / half-yearly billing periods :D I imagine your overheads may be lower if someone is billed annually as opposed to monthly.

For now. If I can source gear at a reasonable price I can rack it easily. I already left a space in the rack for it.

Sure, you can do master<>master with it (or just round robin). If you get fancy you could do master<>slave (basically you prepend the private AS we give you).

You still have to handle your own data syncing.

If things go well I expect to be racking mode nodes in July/August, so it'll be plenty.

You can wait till then. We'll make sure Anycast people are well supported. We'll ship nodes as needed.

As for the discount, I just get evil looks from Karen for it. I've brought up the fees, maybe I can push for it again.

Why are you hating on her when you went out of your way to do stuff "for the lulz"?

Just your an account in your name, and you're good.

She's a pretty easy going person if you aren't trying to waste her time.

Provide me a ticket and I'll check, but that's her usual.

    Things must match.

If they don't, she might ask for ID.
