CentOS vs AlmaLinux with CloudLinux Solo

Hello,
I would like to know your views on CentOS vs AlmaLinux.
Recently, AlmaLinux launched its stable version 8.4. But I am not sure when it comes to using in the production environment (high traffic landing page AlmaLinux + CloudLinux Solo or CentOS + CloudLinux Solo).

Which will be more stable, fast, and secure according to your personal experience?

Comments

  • CL Solo is a separate OS entirely. It will replace Alma or CentOS when you install it so you can't have both.

Is she checking which button she should press?

  • I wonder if OP knows it's not free after beta.

Does anyone know about that the softwares/apps which used to support CentOS, will support AlmaLinux without any modification or not ??

If you're coming from CentOS 8, then they should probably be compatible.
