looking for 100gb ssd vps under 5/month (btw i meant to put this in requests, whoops)
Not sure if this is realistic or not, but I'm looking for a vps with 100gb ssd, or at the very least, around 80gb for under $5 a month.
The SSD does not need to be super fast, but I would like it to have reasonable speed. No nvme required.
Here are the details of what I am looking for:
VZ Type:
KVM or OpenVZ
Number of Cores: 2 is fine, or really just 900+ geekbench v5
RAM: 2gb (preferably 3 or 4 if possible)
Disk Space: preferably 100gb+, although I can work with 80
Disk Type: SSD
Bandwidth: 2.5tb or more
Port Speed: 100mbs is fine
DDoS Protection: yes
Number of IPs: 1 ipv4
Location: any
Budget: Looking for under $5
Billing period: i need monthly
If I don't find anything I'll probably just hold off or bite the bullet and buy Contabo or something

I think that the promo on Little Creek is still up. Search on LET. Really good services. Got three up and running without problems.
Thanks, I already have a box with them. I've just had issues with slowdowns and the like, and I'm concerned about using them for a public site.
Afaik @TNAHosting offers the beefiest OpenVZ boxes for its price point, they held a promo recently.
I currently have a 4vCPU (900-ish GB score)/12GB RAM/500GB Disk/15TB Transfer OpenVZ box for 5 bucks a month.
Unfortunately this is no longer available, but they seem to have a few of the LET specials still in stock.
Although these may not meet your other requirements might still be worth checking out.
I have one and it went down for a fair amount of time yesterday, which I am looking to avoid. But either way, I'm looking for SSD as this will be for a website that I want to load quicker.

I wouldn't compare Contabo and Little Creek. Got two VPSes on Contabo (US) and really its noticeable the performance difference.
Tested on a few node applications (Adonis, Next, all running under PM2 or dockerized) and wordpress (in open lightspeed).
I/O and port speed is way better on Little Creek. Way better, from my mind.

I ended up getting the $5 storage VPS from @DataIdeas-Josh, and I have to say, I am really impressed with the performance. I know it wasn't dual core, but the Geekbench score was better than many 2-core VPS offers I have used from this website. It's g, the single core is fast enough for now, and hopefully for some time to come
