WTF is this sonwebhost.com? Their entire site if full of spammy posts which are just copy-pasted in whole from other sites, plus totally un-related posts.. like this one "Wabash College" https://sonwebhost.com/wabash-college/

Restoring Hope, Restoring Trust” includes an array of programs, partnerships, and strategies that support a single vision: to expand the national reputation of Wabash as a place where young men from new majority backgrounds find a college dedicated not just to their enrollment, but to their success and belonging.

and many other tons of spam pages like Anime Stereo hosted on their domain.. totaling 1000+ spam pages!

seems some wordpress auto-pilot plugin is run by them which crawls any web-page and copies the content into their blog!

    AVOID.

I use NextDNS on my router and linked it with No-IP because I have dynamic IP. On phone, I use the Android's built-in Private DNS with Adguard.

@Sonwebhost, your Auto-Robot blog is advertising for Azure, Liquid Web, & other hosts who are literally your competitors.

Am confused. I have configured NextDNS in my router too now. And I see an option to link IP on the setting page and I did. But my ISP also doesn't provide static IP.

So what is the issue over here now. I believe NextDNS will auto-link new IP whenever my ISP assigns new IP to me.

    How No-IP will helps here?

Edit: I read No-IP will auto update the IP once in every 5 minutes and then we can use the DDNS in NextDNS.

Dont NextDNS will do that automatically?

    Hardly competitors.

Myself did the same setup. But NextDNS can easily fetch the IP automatically I believe.

As of now they are providing a link to update which can be triggered via some program.

I think if you go by population, the majority of the world is behind some kind of filtering firewall. China + India + all Muslim nations + some percentage of African + Russia and some E Euro + some SE asian (I think) + probably a few others = > 50% of the world.

NextDNS will not automatically update your IP, so, you will need to check if your router supports DDNS from No-IP or not, if it does then create an account, get yourself a free hostname and configure it on your router, this hostname will be automatically updated with the new IP once it changes.

After that go to NextDNS dashboard, link it to your DDNS hostname, customise your filters the way you like. After that, configure their DNS on your router.

This way, once NextDNS fetches that your IP matches the one in the hostname, it will use the settings and rules you've done on their dashboard, this will also enable you to block sites, apps, or anything else while you are not at home.

Their whole site is as phishing and malicious by at least Kaspersky, Comodo, and Forcepoint. So NextDNS might have blocked it and other DNS providers too who rely on virustotal data!
