I'm selling premium ip (127.0.0.1/8) that will reduce your latency to <1ms, pm me for offer.

Does it matter? Can you even tell the difference?

Number of hops is irrelevant to network performance.

    I'd prefer:

    • Higher throughout.
    • Lower packet loss.
    • Lower jitter.
    • Lower round trip time.

Order of these metrics depends on the application protocol.

Life must really suck if you can feel the difference between 193ms and 206ms.

    1. its marketing BS
    2. You are misunderstanding ping and hop etc.
      Ping is ms between servers.
If you want to get lower ping for SEO purpose - its not possible because you dont know to what server exactly you need lower latency to gain better rankings, that's why its bullshit + latency is not a ranking factor.

Except for INSANELY rare applications (i know basically just 2, and one is proprietary) the hop amount makes zero difference, and both of these work fine with a L2 VPN regardless of latency.

lol, the difference is less than a single frame at 60fps (which is ~16ms).
