I wouldn't mind a 100 bucks (for renewal) .com domain.
Where do you think small businesses get their servers, software etc.. from? Other small businesses?

This is a low end place. We've seen a dude writing a book to complain when his host took 0.21 cents from his refund.
Some hosts in the past and probably present makes some tens of cents per a client also.
0.69 cents increase is HUGE! in ... several ways.
It's actually 54 cents increase... 4 additional cents per month...
Hoarding domains and letting idle a server is pretty comparable imo.
It's still a shame there's so many parked domains.
The price used to be $50 a year or more. That didn't stop hoarding.
