make a backup on Hetzner storage box
I have successfully mount the storage box via cifs on my CentOS 8, then I tried to rsync some directory, but only a few little size files got transferred and I got error
rsync: close failed on "/mnt/hetznerboxshare/somefilexxx": Input/output error (5)
rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at receiver.c(853) [receiver=3.1.3]
my server is located in HongKong and the box was ordered in Finland, maybe the error caused by bad connection? Is there another approach to achieve a backup with network issue auto retry and fix

Try backup without mounting the storage box. Or you could try rclone mount with vfs write cache.
Problem solved by specifying protocol version 2.0 in the mount options
