unmetered bandwidth costs more with 1 Gbps port speed.
IX bandwidth alone would cost over half of the budget.
Fully aware, sorry for the miscommunication. I'm open to lower speeds at or above 200mbps. Should I edit the original request?
Could be less than 1G. Fair use is fine. I just want the certainty of no overage charges. I don't anticipate using it non-stop. This is for a multi-hosted ecommerce site with Anycast
if you mention your real bandwidth usage in one month then it is okay.
e.g 50tb 100tb bandwidth.
Got it, thanks. Unfortunately I have very little visibility on the actual usage.
I already have one DC providing service with similar specs and pricing, just looking for another one
I believe @Francisco does unmetered on all his slices.
We do!
200mbit/sec usage would be $30.00/month on the 8GB Slice.
BGP is free, or $50/month if you want it DDOS protected.

I think 50-100TB bandwidth is sufficient for you with 1 Gbps port speed.
because you required 200mbps port speed.
Thanks Francisco. What's the difference on this $50 vs the $3/month DDoS on BuyVM's site? Number of IPs?
One is a single IP, the other requires you have your own IP block. The $50.00/month would protect the whole range.

@Francisco Do you ever do special slices with a higher ratio of ram when you have unused ram on a node?
I'd love to be able to add your data centers to my global anycast network in the future, but you don't do dedicated servers and slices wouldn't be cost effective since I don't need a lot of SSD space and can't make use of so many cores with the available ram.
No since the nodes are split up perfectly. The plans are sized the way they are so that, like the American First Nations, we use all parts of the server.
I’ve been playing with so someone could buy slower, but more, cores. Or more ram, but less cpu. This would make the current plans be a solid middle ground.
