While there's technically nothing incorrect about the title, I feel you still gonna disappoint a lot of people who come to check your offer hoping for a Taiwan VPS at $25.

  • I thought it's a Taiwan vps at 25 usd :(

    Hi,

We do not offer plans for $25 USD in Taiwan, however I think that this are the best priced offers in Taiwan at the moment.

  • I don't think you can really claim to be "China Optimized" in Taiwan if you only have NTT routes to CT/CU, which is definitely not a "premium" route to China.

181ms to China Telecom or China Unicom, routed through Tokyo.
RTT is only marginally less that San Jose or Los Angeles, but price is a lot more expensive.

I'm not sure what to say other than the fact that you're using the "low end" network from HostingInside, which also has a premium network that has actual "China optimized" bandwidth from Chunghwa Telecom. At peak hours, CT has massive packet loss and bandwidth issues with NTT.

The "low end" network does not support IPv6 Protocol, all of our VM's in Taiwan come with a /64 IPv6 included.

This is completely irrelevant to what I'm saying. From Taiwan, the optimal routes to China Telecom and China Unicom are through TWGATE (aka. Chunghwa Telecom), HiNET or a few other local ISPs. You do not provide any of those routes to CT/CU, I made the comparison to HostingInside's premium network because they do provide routes that are actually optimal to CT/CU.

Beyond just ignoring what I actually meant, HostingInside does provide dedicated servers on their non China-Optimized network with IPv6 support, which again provides the same routes to China via NTT for CT/CU and via CMHK for CM.

Using "China Optimized" to mean "via. NTT" is very poor advertising practice, given that pretty much every cloud provider in the region provides those routes (Vultr Tokyo, Linode Tokyo, Lightsail Tokyo etc.) Your traffic routes through NTT Japan just like all the other providers, meaning that conversely, you actually have more latency than those providers because of the additional hop to Taiwan.
