    There's no CN2 and no China Telecom direct peering though.
    It's the crummy Comcast - the ISP everyone in the USA hates.

    You may want to buy Tokyo location. It's still 163 network but closer to China.
    However ping.pe is showing 80% loss from Jiangsu China Mobile to Tokyo looking glass right now.

    Thanks for the test result you showed me yesterday, I find the VPS on 163 network with 10G port  is always better than CN2 network which is always with 1G port. Then, by coincidence, the boss launched this activity and bought it for a try.

    You may want to buy Tokyo location. It's still 163 network but closer to China.

    I think it's just an issue with Chinese routing. My residential ISP (AS852) has direct routing to China Telecom and Unicom via SIX from the west coast but I keep losing packets anyways.

    Comcast business can't be that bad... imagine if you were trying to get to CN2 via Cogent...

    Comcast business is not good for Chinese routing, neither Cogent.
    But Cogent isn't that bad, I can upload at 200mbps, from China Telecom(residential) to some random low-end LA VPS, via Cogent with crazy package lost.
    Upload to Comcast Business is solid capped at 128kbps.

    Been benchmarking the 3GB server for the past few days. Very impressed with its performance but am also a little sad to see the NexusBytes LAX location doesn't have great peering with China/Asia.

    I guess this wasn't advertised as 'Asia Optimised' so I'm probably asking too much, but I'd love to see some improvement!

    In generally though, so far so good. Happy to be part of the family :) Is Bob back from his vacation?
