Looking for cheap CoLocation which would allow me to send my Hardware to them.
Hello,
I am looking for a nice cheap Colocation, for a 2U server. I would also see prices for a Rack if needed. The locations I am interested are anywhere in the US, and Europe also. I do know Serverius has a nice offer which allows you to ship the server to them and they'd slide it up the rack, but I am looking for similar deals but for a full rack also maybe, and some alternatives.
Thanks

word around town is colocation providers do in fact allow you to colocate your hardware
Try asking HE (Hurricane Electric), sometimes they have good deals in their Fremont data center.
Feel free to contact us, we offer Single U colocation to full rack colocation.
Pricing for colocation starts at $35 and includes:
1Amp @120v
1U
10TB Bandwidth
1Gbps Port
DDoS Protection
/29 IPv4 subnet
Dallas, TX
Upgrades:
Additional Amp $20/month
Additional U $10/month
Like I said above, we also offer 1/4, 1/2, and full racks, if interested feel free to contact us on our site, here in PM, or you can find me on Discord: Ian.D#8515

I wonder how does the data center enforce how many amps a server is allowed to use?
If the amperage is exceeded (instantaneously or persistently), does the server get suspended or does the customer get an overage invoice?
If a server needs 10 amps to power on (first 30 seconds) but normally uses 5 amps, should the customer select 5 amps or 10 amps?
Choose a location close to you unless you are willing to ditch the hardware after a few years.
Feel Free to reach out I can get you set up in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Jacksonville FL, And Dallas TX
Power usage is based on the CPU's in the system and case type. For example, if you run 2x Xeon X5660 we would charge 2amps for the system, even though at times or during startup it would use 2.5amps.
This is how we calculate it, other providers may do it differently.
