From the page: The remaining credit expires in 1 year (365 days) from the day of redemption.

This is very generous OP. Thank you.

Also note that these prices are in Australian dollars - That AU$5/month VPS is only around US$3.71/month.

I've been using Quantum Core since April 2019 and they're probably the best Aussie VPS host I've used. Consistently fast servers (with modern Xeon Gold 6258R processors, not old Xeon E5s), great support, just an overall awesome experience. Highly recommended.

Is this promotion valid for existing customers? I just renewed my VPS last week and missed out on this :/

Yeah they migrated to RansomIT's network back in August. I think I was the first person to migrate to their new network - My VPS' IP is the one immediately preceding their test ping/traceroute IP (.2 instead of .3) :P

    Hey there,

I'd be interested to investigate this further. We actively respond to all emails usually within an hour or two.

Could you PM me the date/time + subject of the email and where you sent this? I will chase it up. I've had a quick look and there is no outstanding replies on Live Chat, Website Contact Requests or support tickets.

    Cheers
    Harry

YABS for their cheapest plan (AU$5/month, 1 GB RAM, 30 GB space). Disk I/O speed is very good. I just ran the benchmark on one of the VPSes I've had since April 2019.

Just want to confirm that the free credit is good for 1 year as your AUP states:

    1. Free Credit • The remaining credit expires in 60 (sixty) days from the day of redemption. • The credit is non-refundable. • Can only be redeemed once per person. • Our terms of service are subject to change. Any changes will be available on this page.

See some people actually do read the AUP & TOS.

EDIT: @AlwaysSkint It also shows at https://quantumcore.com.au/freecredit#:

I'm an existing customer, can I redeem the free credit?

Yes! Of course! Simply add a minimum of $10 credit to your account to aumatically redeem your $50 of free credit.

    and

What are the terms of service for the free credit?

Any remaining free credit expires in 1 year (365 days) from the day of redemption.

I might add, Quantum Core are there when I need them the most.
    1. When a previously well-know provider went deadpool, their fallback VPS was there to tide me over until I got a replacement commissioned.
    2. Then approx. a year later, when my main Aus VPS went offline for a few days, their VPS was ready again, to keep a client site running.

I can't ask for more. Thanks @QuantumCore and have a Happy New Year!

    Cheers, @FrankZ , I should've scrolled down more. ;)

  • the credit is 60 days or 365 days?

  • I guess I missed out as $10 deposit remains as is. Oh well. :|

  • great offer! The bonus was credited instantly, now the main thing is that the service does not fail!

    Thanked by 1QuantumCore
  • I also received the bonus credit instantly, thanks! Now I am looking forward to my first Aussie mostly-idler; as soon as I get around to setting it up that is :) The specs look nice, and this, as a whole, looks like a very nice offer indeed.

This offer was a one time offer per account. If you were unable to redeem it's likely due to being redeemed in the past. I'll make this more clear tomorrow. Open a ticket if you want your deposit back :)

Kind, though not required - it'll pay for the following month. :)

  • @QuantumCore is still on going promo free 50$ ?

  • If still going on the promo, I will deposit $10 then I can have the little Linux VPS $5 for just one year that's right my simple math here ? (12 x 5 = $60 - $50 -$10 = 0)
