Interesting latency !
yea I don't think it's going through MIA, at least not with this carrier, seems to be going straight from Panama to Uruguay (via Arg) cause 64.215.185.73 with ping response times of 13ms-16ms can't be in Mia
64 bytes from 64.215.185.73: icmp_req=1 ttl=252 time=13.7 ms 64 bytes from 64.215.185.73: icmp_req=2 ttl=252 time=12.9 ms 64 bytes from 64.215.185.73: icmp_req=3 ttl=252 time=12.5 ms 64 bytes from 64.215.185.73: icmp_req=4 ttl=252 time=14.7 ms
64.215.185.73 is Level3/GlobalCrossing. There is a provider in Panama that does some VPN tomfollery from Panama to Miami.... so it's highly possible that trace is Panama->Miami->Uruguay.
Edit: Opps the VPN tomfollery is by someone in CostaRica.
Great @ndelaespada maybe depends on the path but it seems that it's a great connection to/from there.
Keep in mind that just because the hops are hidden by Level3 in their MPLS it does not mean they don't exist...
