Looking for the same, but im willing to stretch the budget a little.
Do you really need that much disk?
Yes, i do.
What's wrong with Contabo?
Shit support, overpopulated servers, network aint great, and the attitude of their support is bullshit.
i am using same package over 1years, dont know why i didn't face same problem yet. i got support good enough.
How about Netcup? https://www.netcup.eu/vserver/vps.php
Currently testing them out.
Disk I/o is sh*t

If you didn't like the service from the first 14 days you have to contact them and cancel the yearly contract. Also the same for contabo
It's impossible to find better specs/network at same price level. You have to rise your budget.
I'm starting to see a pattern here...
for 30.25, you can get an auction dedi at hetz
NetCup is the beast for me. Done alot of testing now. Lets see over time how support and uptime is.

Contabo is by far the best provider from lowenders. The price is really good and service quality is decent. There is no questionable billing practices as with netcup. Don't look for crap in strawberries.
Send them a ticket to remove the restriction and they will do it, this has been mentioned several times by now in other different threads. It's a practice that some other providers do as well.
I got from Contabo a vps and after did some tests and found out that the network was weak I asked for cancelation and refund.
They simply refused. I used the vps two hours while I installed only wordpress.
What do you mean by 'weak'? I'am able to push sustained 80Mbps (ISO seeding).
Haha, as they do hybrid hdd instead of pure SSD, what do you expect as it cost peanuts for service which is clearly oversold in order to get profit.
My previous comment sent blank, and my text lost, so I try it again.
I bought a VPS a year ago on BF. The promo was the removed setup fees,so I tried it for only 4.99 Eur. I bought the smallest SSD VPS (8G RAM 200 G SSD).
I had problems with the network after a few days. I wrote to the support, and they sayd that the problem is on routing, so they can't help. I decided that I cancel the VPS at the end of month.
When I logged in to cancel, suddenly, I ordered another last month, and I tried support again. The reply was positive, after a few mails, they moved my VPS to Munich DC. The move was in January, and at the end of the month I had a hal hour when my VPS was unreachable, but after that, I don't have problem.
Sometimes I/O or CPU slower than normal, but it is rarely and I think in this very low cost it is acceptable.
So my experience is positive with them.
I saw the NetCup benchmark in a previous comment, I think, I'll try it.
