Not gonna happen paid monthly, you at least need to pay yearly for that. You could use a really cheap NAT server but even that's paid annually..

You can see that most providers in this price range are prepaid. I've yet to come across someone interested in $1/Month VPS business. As the churn rate would be extremely high, possibly with large amounts of abuse.

For EDU50, most likely yes. It's a manual verification so you can negotiate.

You don't have to, but you should if you want to make it easy for everyone. You can always change the email on your account to your preferred email address after verification.
If you do not want to register with your edu email for some reason, you can always communicate with us and we will arrange to verify your edu email another way.
