PayPal terminates Epik Registrar and Namebio

Seems this was not posted on LET so I'm posting it if any customer of Epik or Namebio here is affected due to this.

On October, 22nd, 2020 PayPal posted:
The letters from Epik SVP of Strategy and Communications Rob Davis noted that PayPal informed it:

PayPal has determined that we will no longer provide our services to you due to service risk. A business decision has been made to no longer process transactions on your behalf…

PayPal did not allow it to appeal.

Whereas with Namebio (domain marketplace)
"Domain name sales database NameBio was cut off from PayPal today. It asked PayPal for an explanation and got a very simple and direct response. (Funny how that works.) Basically, PayPal had associated some of the domains listed for sale on NameBio with their prior use for file sharing and assumed NameBio was associated with file sharing sites. NameBio has appealed and is at the mercy of someone at PayPal to decide its fate."

Yikes. Remember when we had just enough civility to recognize that power fluctuates so we should do to those who think differently than us as we would want them to do to us?

    Never gonna un-ring this bell.

    None.

Almost everyone will boot you out if certain treshold of abusive payments is made. Stripe, 2checkout or whatever. Usually those who offer lower margin are more strict. For example mollie payments.

Of course there is payment gateways with more tolerance, but margins are wayyy higher. Usually such gateways are in Russia.
