AnyNode.net - KVM NextGen 1GB RAM from $15/Year - Free DirectAdmin!

Hello all!

We've recently gone ahead and completely reworked our setup in Las Vegas and alongside our friends over at Hostodo gone and built a new control panel to replace SolusVM. We want to be able to offer our clients features that SolusVM has restricted us from being able to offer, use of SSH keys was a key feature missing and we have many more including BGP, backups and snapshots coming in the near future.

The new panel is called Dahlia. Dahlias are a beautiful flower and is also the national flower of Mexico.

BGP support is currently in closed beta. Please open a support ticket if you'd like to take part!

DirectAdmin is also available with all plans! Please open a ticket with sales!

We've redesigned all of our plans! These plans are currently limited to Las Vegas with Miami in the not too distant future!

    Hello,

Absolutely, open a ticket or provide your ticket ID I will help where I can. OpenVZ & IPv6 connectivity has been flaky for us. We are looking to move to KVM where possible

  • Any sneekpeak on the new panel?

  • what type of DA license? Can I make a sub accounts similar to a reseller?

  • Can I switch existing plan to this new plan and migrate my data? Thanks

The panel is basic, it works, its a step forward we're looking to take and get off Oakley Capitals wild ride of pricing. Wanted to be ahead of the curve, we honestly didn't expect to see 2 rounds of cPanel pricing increases before Solus, so we are surprised.

A full internal license, we do not yet have the ability for sub accounts, this is a future feature

Sadly not as the old plans are on the old nodes, we are migrating VMs over time, if you wish to use a new plan feel free to order and cancel your current at the end of its term.

  • @anyNode I tried to open a ticket, it gives 504 Gateway Time-out

Seems to be an issue with Cogent, ticketed

  • +1 for anynode, good group of guys for a cheap quality service.

support clearly isn't their strong suit but when things just work you don't really need it anyways.

    Thanked by 1anyNode
  • Anyone managed to install DirectAdmin in 1GB plan? looks having RAM allocation issue for me.

Did you try to add SWAP

  • A minimum 1 GB of memory is required (2+ GB is preferred), with at least 2 GB of swap memory.

You might want >2GB in the long run, if the product suggest you to do so.

  • Do you offer PTR/reverse DNS on your IPs?

For now? Only via VNC (ticket), I do need to look into Free/OpenBSD cloud-init templates/configs I will get around to that shortly, however this is lower down on my list ;)

Its a new KVM node, few migrated users and new people who have ordered. We have 2 more ready to deploy when this is full we will not overload these servers

  • Hello,

What are your node hardware specifications? any bench results please? πŸ‘€πŸ‘πŸ”πŸ¨πŸ°πŸΊ

    Yet Another Benchmark Script (YABS)

    curl -sL yabs.sh | bash

    serverreview-benchmark v3

    curl -LsO git.io/bench.sh; chmod +x bench.sh

    Bench Monster

    curl -LsO bench.monster/speedtest.sh; bash speedtest.sh

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hey @hide1hide

    Node specs are
    Dual E5-2650v2
    128GB RAM
    4x2TB SSD R10
Currently 1Gbit network, the nodes have been given a 10G network card for future expansion

As for benchmarks, thats more of a customers territory ;) save them being, urm, bias.

    Thanked by 1hide1hide
  • I have been AnyNode's customer over a year and I would buy again from them with high caution since performance of my OVZ node has been dropped radically within year.
    Here are some ServerBench results

In short, CPU frequency has been reduced, IO speed is slow and network speeds have dropped. Smells like overselling to me

    Maybe the Problem Is OVZ.

    Hello @atomi

Interesting with the CPU, it must have speedstep enabled. Any chance you can DM me your IP so I can checkout that node. Seems it has a few problems i'd love to quash if possible

Not sure if its speedtest since even if I run some CPU heavy stuff, it seems that cpu specs are same
If you want to have a look, I have now DM to you

  • New VPS also have the same problem! :o :'( :( :| :s
