ok netcup is even cheaper at ~€13 but they don't offer block storage (or I missed it)
and contabo has 16gb ram + ssd at just 8.99, even us locations at €2 surcharge (is the us location their own or do the just act as a reseller?) and do they offer block storage? couldn't find any
they have even 60gb ram at 26.99, crazy, where's the catch?
Strato has a 16gb ram, 300gb ssd out for 10€/month but I wouldn't recommend them. You may still test it, but be aware to choose 1 month contract period (instead of yearly) and that you'll probably have to cancel 30 days in advance to terminate a contract at the end of a month. (also sth. to look for when dealing with netcup).
@Pilzbaum Not sure but I think this is—if we talk in DO terms—object storage, so something like S3 on AWS. IDK if I can run DB files on them. Block storage can usually only be accessed from only one vps.
I thought so too, but it's the only additional storage option netcup offers (afaik). Good luck with your search tho, I currently don't know any other providers, maybe others might help!

@coolgoole PHP-Friends is a well known and respected company on LET. Afaik, there are quite some people behind it, but I don't know how many.. Let's ask @PHP_Friends themselves!
Sadly I don't own/rent anything with them, but I've mostly (or only) heard positive feedback.

No, but if you need Intel servers for some reasons we still offer the current products with Intel inofficially. Just send us a message with the product you need and we will give you a direct link
Worked with both netcup and php-friends, and also hetzner, you cannot find noticeable fault with them. All are german provider, the keep their promises as per I know.

if you're mainly there for the RAM and willing to go monthly, yearly and/or can even wait for BF there should be plenty of options - depending on the location you are looking for...
naranjatech, hosthatch, to name a few that are known to run offers with good amounts of RAM for cheap and in europe.
