    Yup. Exactly. Should have acted doubly with cautious since the provider was suspected of shady business and refund was required for it.

  • There's at least two well known providers here with broken OS reinstall buttons that set the default password to debian/ubuntu/centos as per the OS. Had to discover that by ticket when the set/shown password didn't work. Not sure if still an issue today. I stopped buying servers from them after that.

    I don't know the laws in the reverse situation, but Staples shipped me an extra 32" 2K monitor last week and according to Canadian law, I get to keep it. Best fuck up, ever.
