Not had time to get to it this weekend yet unfortunately

    You can use 83.150.216.94 instead.

I also checked your gateway IP (83.150.216.1)
I grabbed it from traceroute first hop.
I retrieved Geolocation information for both IPs.
IP address shows wrong location (USA).

If you do a whois on the IP addresses, you will note by the owner of them that it is 98.985% likely that they are leasing the IPs from another company. That company is probably in the USA and geolocation in most cases will point to the address of the company that owns the IPs (or the location they have previously set on the IPs), NOT the location they are being used in currently, so this is not abnormal to encounter.

As a provider leasing IPs, you need to send in an update (and in some case the leasing company has to do it for you) specifically to ARIN/RIPE requesting they update the location of the IPs. Then, you also have to requests updates to databases like 'Maxmind', et al, so in most cases it takes months for the geolocation information to be accurate and that is if you consider it important enough to spend the time on getting it changed.

Now, let us have a quick reality check here... this is Low End Talk... so the provider is doing this for CHEAP and has very little profit margin in the product most likely, so why would they spend the extra time working to update geolocation? The IP likely cost them $1 per month to start with, if they spent any time on this they would likely be losing money on the product. So I think you should adjust your expectations here a bit and if this is still important to you, contact the provider directly (in ticket) to see if they are willing to make a request on your behalf (and be willing to pay for the service if required) .

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

Geolocation updates have been submitted as necessary, it’s out of our control beyond that unfortunately, we have to wait for them to update which can take several weeks at minimum.

(FYI this is a new block added in recently hence has not yet been updated as with our other blocks)

    It was highly informative
I didn't know anything about this costly technical issue.
The provider also has servers in LA (USA) and I thought I misunderstood something here.
    Thank you.
