You can use Hetrixtools for uptime & resource monitoring:

SSH login: CSF/LFD (firewall) is able to sending email alerts from SSH logins, sudo, etc (configurable)
You can use HetrixTools to monitor port connections on your SSH port and monitor services.
It's pretty simple to set up your prometheus/grafana/node_explorer combo. Open source and free.
