I knew I forgot something. Chair and table for those who are curious.
Does your equipment wear masks and practice social distancing?
Does netmask count as mask? 😂
Does the budget line is the super deal ?
With the coupon code shared above . I think the 4G plan comes down to ~6.75/mo with annual commitment.
Oh well... was expecting something more spicing ... I think I need to lower my expectation.
Damn . This is by far the cheapest plan we have offered, till date. Plus the disk. So much disk.
Ratio disk/RAM is lower on these plan. Not saying it's bad deal, but not good enough for buy, idling and forget.
There is nothing wrong with wanting a cheaper price, but that means you also need to lower your expectation on the quality you receive. It's not fair to wish a premium provider offers prices that would bankrupt them.
For example.. we have lots of Vultr credits so I logged in to see the cost of a 2-core, 4GB memory instance. $20/month. @seriesn is giving this at ~$6.75/mo. Almost 1/4 of the price. I think that's plenty spicing.
Even if you don't like his pricing, hopefully you & me can respect that he is willing to offer a quality service instead of an unstable/oversold/cheap service.
Bob values his time... Be like Bob. One thing I've learned in my life is that "cheapest" always costs more in the long run. I have an idiot friend that will spend $5 in gas to drive all day around town to save $1 on something.
But @ben47955 I think you said it best. The stuff @seriesn offers isn't a super-cheap-idle-and-forget product. It's not his target customer and because of the premium specs he offers, I don't think either of us can blame him.
I'm reading @DA_Mark posts waiting for crazy "buy anything, I pay" (and missing the post as usual).
@seriesn is Dallas in your future plans?
Fair answer. Idlers were never our target demo as we actually people to feel comfortable and use our systems for production purposes . Definately don't want to be a name that your forget till renewal email comes 😭.
@DA_Mark actually summarized it really well. Our end goal was never to become the "cheapest" provider but rather a host, that provides quality value for the hard earned money that our family members spends (kinda like how great companies such as buyvm are). We do take pride in being affordable and offer something steady enough to a point where we don't need to run crazy promos 24/7 just to pay the bill. Definitely not going to us Docs prescription haha.
Maybe some day, somewhere, you will find us useful for your project
No more expansion till 2021 at the least. So nothing in the pipeline boss
No problem. 2021 is tomorrow.
@seriesn @DA_Mark Don't take me wrong, Nexusbytes is great and I have two services, one of them idling as it's 256MB vm and the other is in use. Both run flawless. I just get too much pumped by the "super limited/very wow special" word. Like I said, deal are great and I will definitely consider them if I need something. But, deal is just a bit too much to keep on hand to maybe use them in couple of months.
Haha. Don’t let this deal to become that stash of cables we all have in our house .
Glad to have you abroad fam
@ben47955 No criticism at all. LET is the place to be for those insane deals. Sometimes a good deal isn't enough. We all need some hype once in a while
I need you in my life.
Since @DA_Mark always does something unique, I am going to spice it up a little more. The first one to post a benchmark (Not in this thread) of our new “budget” product line will receive an one time 100% service credit, which can be applied to your account (can be used for renewal/additional service purchases etc).
Only 1 winner, the first person. Go go go.
Ps, coupons are running out like toilet papers at Walmart.
I don't understand. Why nobody has taken the offer??!! This is crazy.
You know what is crazier? I received an offer from @DA_Mark. I can't believe it, I was looking for the hidden cameras for real
So I grabbed a VPS-8G thanks to @DA_Mark.
I'm going to migrate a couple of VMs from other providers to this server and I will be posting my review about my 4 servers with @seriesn in a couple of days.
Thank you guys!
Any chance you'd have the NVMe VPS in the Atlanta area?
Fokin Mark does it again. I am completely in debt to this guy at this point.
On another note, hey you @imok
Idk either sir. I assume most people usually don't scroll down . Oh well, if no one picks up on this by the time I finish my breakfast, too bad :P
Negative boss. No plans for expansion for atleast till the end of 2021 .
That's in a couple of days.
Maybe I need a server in Los Angeles but I don't know it yet. Anyway I'm going to feel bad if I grab it.
So let Bob does it. Bob also posted in other thread, other forum, be like Bob!
