LunaNode VPS impressions and benchmark
I was lucky enough to get some free credit for up to one year VPS that was offered to active LET members. Have been using LunaNode cloud VPS for about two months now.
Really like their Dashboard interface which makes setup easy. Haven't used Cloud type service before so it's probably similar to other Cloud providers but basically you deposit credit then choose the services you want and there are a lot of options. Create a VPS, delete it, change the specs, change the location, create another, purchase extra storage space, etc. I am using the "Memory Optimized m.1s" virtual machine which is $3.50 a month (if you keep it online 24/7) or $0.00486 per hour- includes 1 GB RAM, 1 core, 15 GB storage, and 1 TB bandwidth. If you take your machine offline you only pay $1 a month for the IPV4 address and I think a small amount for storage space used. Lots of intuitive options that are "self serve" like RDNS, floating IPs, EMail, DNS, etc. etc.
You can create your VPS in Toronto or Montreal Canada, or Roubaix France. I choose Toronto. Installed Ubuntu 18 from template, then Webmin/Virtualmin, then restored a Wordpress website from a backup. Everything installed smooth and fast. Website loads fast, Virtualmin works fine, no issues.
These guys seem like professionals, the service so far is excellent, can't comment on support as have had no need to contact them. If I didn't have my ultra cheap VirMach Black Friday machine I'd definitely consider moving my websites here.

I agree. I have a VPS in Toronto that I use as secondary nameserver and the service has always been excellent in more than one year.
I agree also, very reliable and steady performance. Lots of features and hourly billing is handy for those times when I need something now but maybe not in a week, ya know?
I also got a free VPS from them; super solid service with no downtime. Will definitely consider keeping the service after trial period ends.
It has to be said that Lunanode is a great provider.
Lunanode is prem 👌
This discussion reminded me - I also received the $ 50 credit from Lunanode and had run a bunch of tests on the base plan VPS. I had some initial hiccups with Ubuntu 20.04, but overall, a stable, steady system.
LunaNode easily has the best control panel, no one even close to them.
Great hosting ran by knowledgeable people.
Very good reliable provider with great support.
The only negative point is, they dont offer internal da/cp licenses.
